About CO₹PU$
A private net worth tracker and money planner for India, the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Singapore, the UAE and New Zealand, built to run entirely in your browser.
What It Is
CO₹PU$ (say it “corpus”) adds up everything you own and owe into one number, explains where money is leaking, and gives you the calculators households actually need: SIP, XIRR, EMI, FIRE, income tax for each country, and in India PPF, Sukanya, old versus new regime, HRA, gratuity and presumptive tax for freelancers. You can type your numbers in or import a payslip, tax form, bank statement, invoice list, broker holdings or fund statement, and in India Form 16, Form 26AS, mutual fund CAS or an EPF passbook.
Why It Works This Way
Most money apps ask you to sign up, link your bank and hand your financial life to a company’s server. CO₹PU$ takes the opposite approach. There is no backend at all: no server, no database, no account, no analytics and no AI service. The site is a set of static files, and everything you enter is saved only in your own browser.
How the Numbers Are Worked Out
- Plain rules, shown in full. Every insight is a readable rule, for example “an emergency fund should cover six months of expenses”, with the arithmetic shown.
- Current Indian rules. Tax figures follow the Income-tax Act 2025 for the tax year 2026-27 (slabs unchanged by Budget 2026), checked in October 2026. Renumbered sections show both numbers, such as section 58 (old 44ADA).
- Documents read on your device. PDFs are read with pdf.js, spreadsheets with a small built in reader, and photos with Tesseract, all bundled with the site and running offline.
Live Prices
When you press refresh, the browser asks these free public services directly, sending only a fund code, ticker or currency pair: mfapi.in for mutual fund NAVs, goldprice.dev for gold and silver, CoinGecko for crypto, Frankfurter (European Central Bank rates) for currencies, and Alpha Vantage or Finnhub or EODHD for stocks using your own free key.
Not Financial Advice
CO₹PU$ is an educational tool. It does careful arithmetic and explains its reasoning, but it does not know everything about your situation. For decisions involving real money, confirm with a chartered accountant or a SEBI registered investment adviser.
